This Auditor II position with the Department of Commerce Consumer Affairs - Public Utilities Commission in Downtown Honolulu involves professional auditing work, including examining accounts and rendering opinions on the financial position of governmental agencies and business entities. The Level II role is an advanced trainee position performing a variety of auditing assignments ranging from simple to moderately difficult tasks.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least twelve semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects
- One year of progressively responsible professional auditing experience applying generally accepted professional accounting and auditing principles, standards, theory and practices
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident alien)
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on position assignment
