The Fleet Administrative Clerk supports fleet operations by managing vehicle registration, vendor communication, and administrative documentation. This role reports to the Fleet Manager and requires accuracy, organizational skills, and basic computer literacy.
Responsibilities- Review, edit, and accurately input payroll documentation into the Payroll Processing System.
- Sort and distribute information to relevant departments.
- Communicate with vendors to manage vehicle registration, shipping, decals, and related services.
- Acquire price quotes, set up appointments, procure payment, and submit payment to vendors.
- Coordinate with outer‑island divisions to determine vehicle status and obtain mileage, registration, and insurance data.
- Ensure all vehicles have the required credentials and maintain up‑to‑date registration records.
- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Basic reading and writing in English.
- Basic computer literacy (Windows applications, Word, e‑mail, spreadsheets).
- Flexible to work weekends, evenings, holidays and all weather conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and time‑management.
- Ability to adapt to new software and applications.
- Work in an air‑conditioned office environment with light lifting (20+ lbs).
Air‑conditioned office with general office equipment. Sit and stand for extended periods, frequent computer use, light lifting (20+ lbs). Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend, lift, and push. Work in all weather conditions.
