We are looking for a detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will provide crucial support to attorneys by managing legal documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with court procedures. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to delivering high-quality administrative and clerical support.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process various legal documents including complaints, subpoenas, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Manage electronic filings in both state and federal courts.
- Coordinate the delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys via mail, fax, or courier.
- Schedule appointments and monitor deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, organizing files, and maintaining case records.
- Support attorneys in gathering and compiling information relevant to their cases.
- Draft and format office memos and internal correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and submit findings for attorney review and approval.
- Complete and submit various forms for court proceedings, client applications, and trial requests.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the legal team and office operations.
Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's Degree or Legal Secretary Certificate is preferred.
- At least three years of relevant experience in a legal environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with federal and state court rules, including e-filing procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to operate office equipment including copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Prior experience in calendaring and schedule management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively in a demanding environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
