Job Duties- Monitors the Sullivan and Cancer CARE Community email (reviewing, responding, and triaging the inquiries).
- Assists Sullivan Conference Center users with the logistical and A/V functions (before and during the event).
- Assists with event and tour coordination (i.e., follow up with various tasks related to the event) and planning with the Event Coordinator.
- Assists with the development of event collateral (printed material/ handout/ signage).
- Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Collaborates with the volunteers on specific tasks within an event.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A classified University of Hawaii at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing). Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
- Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
- Flexible with hours worked (nights and/ or weekends)
- Familiar with Microsoft Publisher
- Familiar with using Canva
