Rotating Shift WorkSome positions require shift work, including evening, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be available to work rotating shifts.
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform senior level clerical work involving a wide range of clerical functions, some originating and planning of work, and highly complex clerical or administrative tasks primarily substantive in nature. Evaluate information for conformance with established requirements and interpret laws, rules and regulations to determine appropriate disposition. Perform other related duties as assigned. Operate independently with substantial discretion.
Legal Authorization to WorkCitizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Basic Experience- Six (6) months of work experience demonstrating knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and arithmetic; ability to read and understand oral and written instructions; write simply and directly; compare words and numbers quickly and accurately.
- Two (2) years of work experience involving a variety of clerical tasks; knowledge of office practices and procedures; ability to carry out procedures in clerical work systems; operate various office equipment and technologies.
- Required for positions with supervisory responsibility. Demonstrated aptitude or potential through successful completion of assignments involving supervisory responsibilities or aspects of supervision.
- Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements.
- Required in some positions. Ability to keyboard/type 40 net words per minute.
- A. Ability to lift and carry various weights.
- B. May require handling firearms and ammunition. Must not have a conviction of domestic violence.
- C. May require proficiency in a language other than English (e.g., Hawaiian, Japanese, or American Sign Language).
A valid driver's license is required for some positions.
