Job Title: Personnel Assistant I
SUMMARYThis position performs a variety of general personnel clerical tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, education, training, employment/staffing, compensation, employee labor relations, and equal employment opportunity/affirmative action. The Person nel Assistant may conduct surveys and update manual and automated personnel records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform a variety of general personnel clerical tasks, including employee records, benefits, education, training, and employment/staffing duties.
- Assist with compensation, benefits, staffing/employment, EEO procedures, and policy administration.
- Maintain both manual and automated personnel records and conduct surveys to update them.

REQUIREMENTS- High School Diploma, GED, or high school equivalent.
- Operational knowledge and/or experience processing identification issuance requests, issuing identification badges for building and system access, and DoD CAC Card issuance policies and procedures. Demonstrated completion of all required DEERS/RAPIDS training (Certificates of Completion).
- Initiated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) and a favorable completion of FBI fingerprint check or an eDoD‑determined equivalent investigation.
- US citizenship and clearance to obtain a Federal Clearance.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of administrative military personnel experience.
- Valid U.S. state driver's license.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend, and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from both inside and outside the organization. Ability to effectively respond, communicate, and present information to clients and other employees.
