OverviewE.A. Buck is a fast-growing financial services company with dual headquarters in Denver and Honolulu. We’re seeking a Tax Administrative Associate to join our growing team! The Tax Administrative Associate provides administrative and operational support to the E.A. Buck Accounting & Tax Services (EABATS) team while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and internal team members.
This role supports day-to-day tax operations through scheduling, client communication, document management, tax preparation support, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment, especially during tax season.
This position is primarily based in Honolulu, HI.
What you’ll do- Answer incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for tax professionals and clients.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for select tax clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor, organize, and track client work papers and documentation needed for tax preparation.
- Assist with tax season processes including scanning, assembling, logging, tracking signatures, and delivering tax returns.
- Input and maintain accurate client information within CRM, tax software, and internal systems.
- Coordinate invoice billing, payments, and collection activities.
- Maintain organized files, records, and documentation while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support tax professionals with administrative, operational, and process-related tasks.
- Assist with special projects, internal process improvements, and other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 2 years of administrative experience preferred, ideally within a tax, accounting, or professional services environment.
