About This Opportunity

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support Project Managers in coordinating and supervising all phases of our repipe and infrastructure projects. You will gain hands‑on experience while helping keep projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly. In this role, you'll actively lead and support your team, engage closely with clients, and manage tenant relationships on‑site, ensuring every project meets our high standards.

The Assistant Project Manager role requires exceptional organizational abilities, advanced computer proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in documentation and paperwork, and strong communication skills. This is a full‑time exempt position based on a job site, reporting to the Project Manager and Division Manager. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative and project coordination skills who thrives in keeping complex projects organized and on track.

Key

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the Project Manager
  • Support scheduling coordination for plumbing, carpentry, and drywall crews
  • Assist with tracking project progress and flagging potential issues
  • Communicate professionally with residents and clients to address questions and concerns
  • Utilize project management software and Microsoft Office suite for daily operations
  • Support on‑site logistics and coordination as needed

Key Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills – ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Advanced computer proficiency:
    Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), project management software, and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence and coordination
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping
  • Experience with paperwork management including contracts, submittals, invoices, and project documentation
  • 1‑3 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or office management
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Positive, proactive, and solutions‑oriented attitude
  • Personal vehicle suitable for local transport
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 25‑50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Candidates

Preferred candidates will also have prior experience supporting construction project managers; associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field; proficiency in project management software, experience in multi‑family residential construction; proficiency in Spanish; and/or prior administrative experience in construction or related industries.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 annually, based upon experience and qualifications.
