Job SummaryThe Administrative & Graphic Design Assistant provides support to the business owner by handling basic graphic design tasks, performing general administrative duties, and assisting with day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, small business setting.
Key Responsibilities Graphic Design Support- Assist with floor plans and mockups for store design/planning
- Create and update simple marketing materials such as signage, visual merchandising/displays, print and digital graphics, and presentations.
- Make minor edits to existing designs, including resizing, formatting, and text/image updates
- Ensure designs follow established brand guidelines
- Prepare digital files for print, production or online/digital use as needed
- Perform basic photo editing or image cleanup for use on marketing materials or product design
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry, filing, and document organization
- Maintain digital and physical records
- Support basic office operations and special projects as assigned
- Assist the company owner with day-to-day tasks and priorities
- Help coordinate projects and follow up on action items
- Handle miscellaneous duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Serve as a reliable point of support across departments or functions
- Basic graphic design experience and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience in an administrative or assistant role
- Experience working in a small business or supporting an executive/owner
- Basic knowledge of print production
- Small business setting with a collaborative and hands-on approach
- Role requires flexibility and a willingness to assist where and when needed
