Description
Position in First Insurance Company of Hawaii. This role is located on the island of Oahu and candidates must work in Hawaii upon hire.
Responsibilities- Provides clerical support to various departments in processing of Submissions, Renewals, and Agent of Record (AORs)
- Review Submission for clearance and update Salesforce
- Review and clear AORs requests and handle them according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Premium Audit:
Print, assemble, update system and distribution - Review renewal instructions and distribute accordingly
- Typing, printing, updating various Policy documents as requested by the Underwriters, Commercial Operations or Agencies
- Scanning hard copy documents to appropriate files
- Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Keyboard 35+ WPM
- Ability to prioritize work and multitask to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to collaborate with others across departments
- High attention to detail
- Associate II: 1-year general office experience
- Associate III: 2+ years general office experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of P&C insurance experience
- Occasional overtime may be required
- $36,000 to 48,500 annually
