Position: STAFF SERVICES SUPERVISOR II - OAHU

Recruitment Number 26-0213

Immediate vacancy with the Department of Human Services.

Salary: $4,557 to $5,767 per month (SR-16, Step C to I).

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and conduct administrative housekeeping services to support program operations and activities. Serve as a divisional or district level program manager and program staff support, supervising 2–4 clerical subordinates. May also oversee facilities maintenance and performance of 2–4 custodial and maintenance personnel. Act as departmental representative in dealings with the public, repair and maintenance contractors, headquarters officials, and others.

Qualifications
  • General

    Experience:

    Three (3) years of progressively responsible office and administrative housekeeping work, including records and files maintenance, word and mail processing, and reception and related services.
  • Responsibility for at least one of the following areas: fiscal recordkeeping; budget preparation; purchasing; inventory control; personnel services.
  • Supervisory

    Experience:

    One (1) year of managing work that involved planning and directing the work of others; assigning and reviewing tasks; advising subordinates; timing and scheduling; training and developing new employees; evaluating performance.
