Dean's Office Coordinator
The Dean's Office Coordinator provides comprehensive, high level support of a complex and confidential nature to the Deans and Academy by coordinating day to day operations through in-depth knowledge and understanding of the department's various programs and priorities. They will serve as the welcoming entry point to the office, and uses sound judgment when assessing and prioritizing the needs of both internal and external requests and referring them as appropriate.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide staff and office support for the Deans.
- Organize and facilitate logistics and coordination of meetings and all phases of special events and projects for the deans, students, faculty, and staff throughout the year.
- Composes and prepares written documentation and correspondence, screens and evaluates incoming and outgoing correspondence, and prepares responses, as appropriate.
- Address, document, monitor, and facilitate highly sensitive and confidential issues regarding students, parents and faculty.
- Provide on the spot support to students with various needs.
- Responsible for the management of the department calendars and events.
- Communicate directly with students, parents and faculty in providing both general and sensitive information.
- Leads and guides the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of department student workers and volunteers.
- Coaches and counsels students when necessary.

- Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Occasional after hours and weekend work - Minimum Hourly Rate*: $28.00/Hour
- Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Four (4) years of office experience in a highly active and energetic work environment.
- Experienced in planning, organizing, and facilitating a range of special events.
- Experience working successfully with adolescents in a school environment highly preferred.
- Highly proficient with computer applications, including databases and Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and scheduled deadlines while handling frequent phone and walk-in interruptions and scheduled deadlines, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility to changing situations.
- Ability to interact with students, parents, faculty and/or staff in a team environment.
- Must possess a strong customer service orientation.
