Admissions Coordinator (Seattle, WA)
Full-time (40 hours per week) position within The Bush School. Compensation: $33.37–$34.71 per hour, health and retirement benefits available, and a generous benefits package for eligible employees.
Daily Operations and Database Management- Coordinate operations for the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, providing daily technical, logistical, and administrative support throughout the application process from recruitment to enrollment.
- Manage the admissions database, input and export data, generate key reports, and maintain online applications.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries with a customer‑service approach, supporting families, students, and staff, especially those from historically under‑represented communities.
- Plan logistical support for all K-12 recruitment and admissions events, including open houses, school fairs, campus tours, assessments, committee meetings, decision‑week events, and family welcome events.
- Coordinate applicant event registration through Ravenna and handle catering, room reservations, and calendaring.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong work ethic, organization, punctuality, and attention to detail; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Blackbaud, Ravenna, School and Student Services, Mail Chimp, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Spanish fluency a plus.
- Willingness to assume additional responsibilities as required.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and high standards of professionalism, organization, punctuality, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and sound judgment in decision‑making.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly proficient with Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
- Be willing to work weekends and evenings during peak season (October–April).
Current Adult and Children CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or plan to obtain shortly after hire).
Successfully complete two separate background screenings.
