What You’ll Do
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) plays a vital role in strengthening and expanding relationships with our largest and most complex clients. By understanding client business needs, coordinating internal resources, and reinforcing the value of our partnership, you will ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
- Drive strategic engagement and retention plans, proactively addressing client risks and preventing surprise terminations.
- dentify growth and referral opportunities through understanding client goals and providing aligned solutions.
- Serve as a liaison and quarterback for clients, navigating cross-functional support and resolving escalations.
- Leverage your knowledge in HR, payroll, and benefits to guide client decision-making and support key initiatives.
- Build trusted advisor status with C-Suite and key stakeholders, fostering long-term loyalty and account expansion.
- 7+ years in a senior client-facing, account management, or key account leadership role within the B2B space. Must include experience managing a complex group of clients.
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding revenue and retention goals for an assigned book of clients.
- Expert at understanding complex client needs and creating effective solutions that benefit both the client and Pro Service.
- Strong ability to influence and lead without direct authority within and outside the company. Experience coordinating different internal teams to achieve client goals and resolve major issues across an entire client group.
- High skill in developing and carrying out data-driven account plans for multiple clients s includes planning for client groups, finding new opportunities, and mapping executive relationships across your clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Able to explain complex solutions clearly to a wide range of audiences from C-suite to small business owners.
