Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Training, Exercise, and Employment Plan (TEEP) Manager to provide integrated planning, synchronization, and digital workflow support to U.S. Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC). The TEEP Manager serves as the central coordinator for the command s training and exercise calendar, ensuring alignment across operational, logistics, readiness, and resource management elements. This position requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with USMC/Joint planning systems, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic headquarters environment.
Responsibilities- Reports to a Facility Maintenance Manager who is responsible for the direction of housekeeping services in the facility and takes direction from a Lead Custodian.
- Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware using established practices and procedures.
- Cleans and sanitizes all rooms (e.g., laboratories, washrooms, offices, conference rooms, record rooms, and common areas) using established practices and procedures.
- Keeps washrooms stocked with appropriate supplies.
- Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; moves equipment, as necessary.
- Orders and distributes custodial supplies; maintains inventory.
- Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations.
- Maintains necessary records; prepares required reports.
- Maintains cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning compounds.
- Locks and unlocks assigned buildings: secure building when facilities are not in use, checks for unlocked doors and windows, reports any unauthorized occupants, turns off lights.
- Attends to emergencies when necessary.
- Attends safety meetings and other related meetings.
- Takes classes as required in cleaning methods and techniques, new products, First Aid, CPR, and working relationships.
- TEEP Program Management & Oversight
- Lead the development, publication, and maintenance of the Training, Exercises, and Employment Plan using systems such as SharePoint, AMHS, or equivalent organizational platforms.
- Develop and publish annual TEEP policy, procedures, timelines, and associated guidance.
- Coordinate and facilitate recurring TEEP conferences, briefings, and synchronization working groups.
- Represent the organization at force synchronization meetings, planning events, and related operational forums.
- Force Training & Employment Synchronization
- Conduct holistic planning and synchronization of service-sponsored training, joint and internal exercises, and employment operations (e.g., Integrated Training Exercises, deployment programs, special purpose operations/training units).
- Ensure unity of effort by coordinating across staff sections, subordinate commands, and supporting organizations.
- Designate lead units or elements for events involving multiple stakeholders and track execution status.
- Liaise with logistics, training, and resource management teams to validate requirements and ensure support for exercises, deployments, and community relations events.
- Budget and Resource Management
- Manage the TEEP budget in coordination with logistics, training, and resource management offices.
- Publish funding controls, track execution, and provide routine reporting on resource utilization.
- Support fiscal planning efforts by validating supplemental funding requests and ensuring compliance with regulations, SOPs, and fiscal controls.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct mission analysis to evaluate, prioritize, and recommend training and employment events based on operational benefit, force readiness, and risk.
- Maintain visibility on force commitments, resourcing constraints, and readiness impacts.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and decision-support products for senior leadership regarding TEEP execution, risk, gaps, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with internal staff sections, subordinate commands, external agencies, and community partners for the planning and execution of all assigned events.
- Support and track community engagement activities, including Fleet Weeks, public festivals, and outreach initiatives.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships to ensure seamless execution of training and employment requirements.
