Business Analyst – System Implementation and Configuration
TEKsystems is looking for a local Business Analyst with System Implementation and Configuration experience to support one of the local companies in Honolulu, Hi. This is a brand new position, working 2‑3 days in the office. Please apply if you are located in Hawaii and are interested in learning more about this exciting new opportunity!
Responsibilities- Plan business analysis approach, conduct stakeholder analysis, plan business analysis activities, plan business analysis communication, plan requirements management process, manage business analysis performance.
- Prepare for elicitation, conduct elicitation activity, document elicitation results, confirm elicitation results.
- Manage solution scope and requirements, manage traceability, maintain requirements for re‑use, prepare requirements package, communicate requirements.
- Define business need, assess capability gaps, determine solution approach, define solution scope, define business case.
- Prioritize requirements, organize requirements, specify and model requirements, define assumptions and constraints, verify requirements, validate requirements.
- Assess proposed solution, allocate requirements, assess organizational readiness, define transition requirements, validate solution, evaluate solution performance.
- Creative Thinking: generating new ideas to solve problems and collaborate with others.
- Organization and Planning
Skills:
develop plans, timelines, teams, and resources within scope, time and budget. - Ethics: act ethically to earn trust and recognize potential ethical difficulties.
- Facilitation and Negotiation: help stakeholders resolve disagreements about priority and nature of requirements.

- Problem Solving: define and solve problems to ensure underlying issues are understood and solutions address them.
- Written Communication: document elicitation results, requirements and other information for medium‑to‑long term records.
- Experience with development and/or technical design.
- Ability to create technical requirements, support system configurations and implementation.
- Experience in the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
- More than 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, gathering requirements, testing, documenting, and meeting with clients.
