Position Overview

Duty Manager, Engine. Salary: $20-30 per hour. Company:
Delta Airlines.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree.

• Ensure safe and efficient shift activity.
• Allocate and manage workforce to meet Delta’s operational and client goals.
• Lead team briefings, assess front‑line staff performance, and address specialized and technical issues.
• Apply and uphold organizational processes and regulatory requirements.
• Support department objectives through KPIs.
• Communicate with all levels of management.
• Execute core duties of the position in a flexible manner.
• Adhere to business, labor, and capital plans.
• Promote a security‑aware culture that results in staff safety and success.
• Implement continuous cycle improvements and process upgrades.
• Direct and prepare workforce assignments.

• FAA A&P Permit required.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in Delta’s support practices, organizations, and systems.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean principles.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and perform well under pressure.
• High energy, self‑training, and capability to work under tight deadlines with precision.
• Current position experience is preferred.
