Analyst; Meter to Cash

Job Summary

This position is responsible for conducting complex data analysis, identifying and implementing solutions, and providing recommendations to cross‑functional teams on technology projects, operational procedures, policies, and customer‑related issues that impact the corporation.

Individuals will participate in system and process improvement initiatives, as well as lead and oversee analysis for the functional area.

• Conduct complex business and data analysis to support potential business expansion and generate policy and procedure recommendations to management.
• Define protocols and requirements for data quality assurance and ensure that analysis, trends, and project work meet corporate standards and SOX controls.
• Implement and identify business solutions or opportunities, influencing stakeholders to adopt best practices.
• Report on common technical issues or questions, and recommend improvements to enhance end‑user experience.
• Interact with department management and leadership to identify issues that warrant future projects.
• Analyze complex operational data, providing reports, forecasting and trend analysis, and recommendations to relevant work groups.
• Improve reports, analytical tools, and self‑service capabilities in collaboration with other departments to drive efficiency and support decision‑making.
• Mentor junior analysts on time and project management, data analysis, process improvement, and related tasks.
• Develop and conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure correct interpretation of specifications.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (IT, regulatory, billing, tax, etc.) to improve processes for long‑term resolution, including researching, reviewing, and analyzing effectiveness and efficiency of requirements.
• Stay abreast of regulatory or political changes that may impact Entergy’s policy decision‑making.
• Stand in for the manager or supervisor as required.
