Job Overview
This position is responsible for analyzing business performance to support or develop, and test strategic initiatives in customer management, product/business development, productivity optimization, and sales. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under tight time constraints.
Key Responsibilities- 20% Information Acquisition – compiles information necessary to review and report on the performance of the division, vendors, or customers using the Data Warehouse, Operating Systems, external resources, and/or other resources as required.
- 30% Analysis, Reporting & Recommendations – uses database programs (e.g., Access), spreadsheets, and other statistical and presentation software to analyze acquired information. Evaluates the performance of customers, develops pricing strategies, establishes performance patterns, determines rebate eligibility, and examines base business performance (sales, GP$, ROI, etc.). Some analyses may be periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and others ad hoc. Develops reports and presentations to communicate results and recommends business tactics and strategies based on findings.
- 30% Operational Implementation & Troubleshooting – creates, maintains, and updates sales plans/contracts, rebate frameworks, and customer profiles as necessary; troubleshoots issues, brings discrepancies to upper management’s attention, and prepares documentation related to specific issues.
- 15% Departmental Documentation – prepares and maintains updated documentation on department procedures.
- 5% Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Typically, 5 or more years of related experience.
Preferred EducationTypically, high school education, vocational training, and/or on‑the‑job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Travel & Physical DemandsTravel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands.
SalaryThe posted range for this position is $46,541–$81,446, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role and becomes fully proficient. Factors such as education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, and internal equity influence pay within the range.
