The Category Sourcing Manager will oversee all sourcing‑related activities and processes associated with the acquisition of key indirect spend categories to support the operational needs of the company. This includes requirements gathering, sourcing, creating and issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals, negotiating and drafting contracts, and contract administration. The role will also ensure compliance with Company Procurement policy, ethical and legal business practices, and lowest total cost procurement.
The Sourcing Manager will report to the Senior Director of Sourcing and work in Dallas, TX, in an in‑person capacity.
We expect a structured approach to lead the negotiation process with suppliers, including contract management, negotiations, RFPs, relationship building at all levels, and data‑analytics insights.
What you’ll do- Lead and support key categories such as Marketing, HR, and other Corporate Services as the primary point of contact for assigned business units.
- Execute the Frontier Strategic Sourcing Process, which includes strategic planning, scoping, bidding, contract execution, compliance, and supplier management for assigned categories.
- Develop long‑term sourcing strategies, cost models, and a pipeline of initiatives to drive cost out of the spend area.
- Participate in cross‑functional teams comprised of business managers, Legal, Risk Management, and other impacted organizations to coordinate company sourcing activities.
- Build and analyze financial models to evaluate proposal scenarios and present recommendations clearly.
- Structure contracts with pricing, performance measures, breach remedies, and termination options.
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts to ensure the best interest of the company.
- Communicate with vendors and internal partners to establish credibility for the sourcing function while improving service quality and performance.
- Manage multiple processes and projects, delivering high‑level customer service and on‑time contracting services.
- Create and maintain documentation in adherence with policy for internal and external audit requirements.
- Convey complex information effectively in written communication.
- Use MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint – effectively.
- Interface comfortably with all levels inside & outside the organization.
- Salary Range: $63,000 – $151,000
- 20 PTO days + 10 paid holidays per year

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, IT, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in sourcing Marketing, Finance, and other indirect categories is highly desirable.
- Solid background in procurement or project management emphasizing strategic sourcing with 5–7 years of experience.
- Experience sourcing materials and services for major projects in a fast‑paced environment.
