Client Relationship Manager, Business Development
What you’ll do
- Be client‑facing and help clients onboard their travel programs with GBT.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans on applicable projects.
- Work closely with other teams such as Service Delivery, Commercial, Product Development, and Support.
- Coordinate discussions with clients to set expectations and determine company infrastructure, travel policy interpretation, and user enrolments.
- Configure, test, and conduct troubleshooting of the site, including travel policy, pricing, and PNRs.
- Contribute best practices to improve quality, standardisation and documentation of implementations globally.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners across global Amex GBT locations.
- Contribute to departmental metrics/goals.
- Update management of implementation status on a weekly basis and participate in weekly team meetings.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert.
- Collaborate with Product Development to determine the feasibility of new vendor offerings.
- Create and test implementation processes to support new initiatives.
- Clear communication skills, able to manage a client call in English.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to overall team objectives.
- Previous experience in Project Management (desired).
- Ability to drive results in a P/L environment.
- Knowledge of corporate travel.
- Time‑management, organisational and change‑management skills.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in PC applications.
- Knowledge of multiple GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Apollo, Galileo) and online booking tools such as KDS, Concur, Get There and others.
- Capacity to work virtually and strong organisational skills.
- Tenacity – ability to drive change in the face of possible resistance.
