* You will plan and coordinate operational projects by determining facilities, equipment, material and numbers and types of personnel required for the specific task.
* You will analyze and make recommendations concerning alterations or modifications to engineering plans, facility requirements and production standards to support continuous ordnance operations on the ammunition piers.
* You will evaluate and execute the shipment of all ordnance material from the command and adheres to truck, vessel and aircraft transportation requirements.
* You will ensure all wharf operations comply with all applicable fire, safety, security and standard operating procedures.
* You will identify, research, investigate and make recommendations to the Ordnance Manager on any policy or facility changes necessary to meet technical ordnance requirements and specifications.
* You will initiate necessary coordination with all personnel and stakeholder offices.
* You will review requirements and initiate action through command leadership for established requirements and determine deadlines and approaches to completing the work.
* You will provide interpretation and clarification of ordnance handling procedures to command waterfront customers.
* You will prepare reports and technical briefings as required by the Ordnance Manager. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* The position may require you to frequently walk, stand, climb, lift, and bend to complete tasks. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and coordinating am munitions handling projects by applying regulations and procedural guidance to ensure safe ordnance operations.
