Environmental Engineer, Civil Engineering
Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company is seeking an Inspector to work based out of our Honolulu Laboratory. Candidate must be self-starting, be proactive, focus and detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete and soils
- Report on preparation of special inspections in accordance with approved project documents.
- Provide as needed support to the Project Manager to ensure the approved testing program is fulfilled based on the construction schedule and sequencing pertaining to this work.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports, laboratory testing reports and related project documents (including but not limited to responses to RFI, test results from materials and certification of materials; amended documents, deferred approvals, welding procedures; approved concrete mix designs, etc.).
- ACI Field Technician Grade 1 License.
- ICC Soils Inspector License is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors, and potential clients.
- Must join Local 3 Operating Engineers
