HDR is seeking a Construction Project Representative to support a solid waste management facility on the west side of Oahu. This role requires a minimum 1-year commitment.
Responsibilities- Represent the Owner's interests on large and small construction projects at a critical facility.
- Keep detailed daily logs of site activity and generate reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule, budget, and permit compliance.
- Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, pay apps, and change orders on behalf of the Owner.
- Support audits and project closeout efforts.
- Analyze construction schedules and track project timelines.
- Collaborate with a diverse project team including Owner, engineers, operators, and contractors.
- Help solve problems and identify cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.
- Construction or design certifications.
- Experience with estimating software (Timberline), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or Sure Trak), project management software (Prolog), and AutoCAD.
- Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the Owner.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
- Fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
- Teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and location: $64,313 - $109,000.
