Role Description

The Superintendent will oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and resolving any on-site issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management, site supervision, and coordinating construction teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance.
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software and basic computer skills:

    Microsoft Office Suite, Construction Management Software (Sage 300 CRE, Prolog or similar), Primavera P3, P6, Sure Trak, or Procore.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience(5+ years) supporting or supervising increasingly complex construction projects.
