Established Commercial Construction Firm seeks to add experienced Project Manager.
Job DetailsWe are a leading commercial contractor specializing in markets such as education, healthcare, hospitality, low‑rise residential, and retail. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution in terms of budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will work closely with Superintendents, Estimators, Owners, and design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
- Oversee contract administration, change order management, and subcontractor agreements.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project goals.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure scope alignment.
- Lead project meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality expectations.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction Project Management.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost controls.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and contract administration.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, and field teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Procore experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and construction documents.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
