Position Overview

Fuel Superintendent – High-Visibility Fuels

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.

Travel-heavy role with per diem and housing fully covered on Hawaii projects. Lead complex field operations from dirt work through turnover on large-scale fueling and energy centers across Hawaii and the Western U.S.

• Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for the completion of an assigned project.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to create pre-construction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
• Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
• Coordinate and schedule the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating instructions and assignments.
• Inspect work for quality and timeliness; prepare and provide progress reports to owners and engineers; make recommendations for modifications.
• Obtain required permits and licenses, execute construction contracts according to terms of the agreement.
• Monitor budget throughout the project and communicate any variances.
• Maintain records related to job costs and inventory and send to appropriate parties.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment following specifications and using hand and power tools.
• Follow company safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment, communicating safety concerns with the safety representative as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License/CDL required.
• 5+ years of experience operating equipment, reading blueprints, and working with grades.
• Experience with underground fuel piping for gas stations.
• Supervisory experience within the construction industry required.
• ICC Certification to handle, install, and test both underground and above-ground piping preferred.
