Sports Host (P/T - Temporary) - KHNL

Hawaii News Now is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Sports Host to support our expanding sports programming initiatives. This position will serve as on-air talent for live sports broadcasts and special programming, while supporting sports content development across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide sideline reporting and commentary for assigned live sporting events
• Host and contribute to sports-related special programming, features, and studio productions
• Assist with content planning and development for sports streaming, digital, and social media initiatives
• Support programming and content development efforts for Hawaii News Now's sports streaming platforms
• Assist with student contributor and internship development efforts as assigned
• Participate in other sports coverage as assigned
• Assist with content development, planning, and production meetings as needed
• Represent Hawaii News Now professionally at events and community appearances when requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Demonstrated understanding of digital, streaming, and social media content strategies preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This is a temporary, part-time position with schedules driven by sports broadcasts, content development initiatives, and special programming needs.
