Position: Full-time, Private Banking Account Representative (Japanese‑Speaking Bilingual)
Location: Honolulu

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

The Private Banking Account Representative is a customer-focused professional who supports an International Private Banking team in a dynamic, client-facing environment. This role provides operational, administrative, and relationship support to international and Japanese-speaking clients while assisting with account services, banking products, and referral opportunities. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Japanese and English, detail-oriented, and experienced in banking operations and customer service.
Job Duties:- Support international private banking operations by assisting Japanese-speaking and English-speaking clients with account services, inquiries, and relationship support
- Open and maintain consumer and business accounts, process deposit products, CDs, loans, and personal lines of credit
- Prepare and process banking transactions including wire transfers, cashier’s checks, and loan documentation
- Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in person; resolve client issues independently
- Assist with client property payment services, bill payments, and service contract setup
- Perform administrative and operational tasks to support the private banking team
- Identify referral opportunities and connect clients with wealth management and lending partners
- Support portfolio growth efforts while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with team members and provide backup support for operational and mass market functions
- Coordinate with third-party vendors on behalf of clients as needed
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of two (2) years of banking or related financial services experience
- Proficiency in Japanese required, including the ability to read, write, and communicate in a business environment
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated, fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with consumer and business banking products preferred
