Adoptions Representative – Mo'ili'ili Campus (located in Honolulu)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Adoptions Representative to join our dedicated team.

• Serve as a knowledgeable adoption advisor, guiding potential pet parents through the adoption process.
• Provide exceptional customer care, answering questions and addressing concerns with patience and empathy.
• Manage animal care responsibilities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our shelter residents.
• Conduct meet-and-greets between potential adopters and animals, facilitating successful matches.
• Maintain accurate records and process adoption paperwork efficiently.
• Assist with cash transactions, licensing procedures, and computer-based tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and positive environment for visitors and animals alike.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in computer operations and various software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate nature and genuine love for animals.
• Physical ability to handle and care for animals of various sizes.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
• Previous experience in animal care or customer service is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
