The Relief Member Service Representative I (MSR I) engages with members to provide an exceptional member experience, processes transactions accurately, maintains records, and balances daily transactions in accordance with mandated policies and procedures. The role also identifies opportunities for product and service referrals and promotes community engagement.

• Process member transactions efficiently and accurately following established policies and procedures.
• Use knowledge of all tools, products, and services to answer and assist members with questions or concerns.
• Proactively engage with members to understand their financial and banking needs.
• Employ sales techniques to develop existing member relationships while processing transactions.
• Understand the role in sales growth and meet branch-assigned and individual goals.
• Generate cross‑sales referrals by actively promoting products and services from internal and external partners.
• Recommend alternative channels such as online, mobile, and digital solutions.
• Assist the branch with daily operational tasks.
• Promote the organization and engage in community events to strengthen community ties.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HawaiiUSA practices, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with regulatory compliance and related training, including BSA regulations where applicable.
• Address and resolve member concerns and transaction discrepancies with empathy, referring complex cases to senior staff when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

• Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer.
• Standing for prolonged periods at a stationary position.
• Walking on occasion for up to two hours per day.
• Reaching, bending, twisting, and turning frequently.
• Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 30 pounds on occasion.

• Hourly pay: $23.10 per hour, with potential variation based on experience, skills, and other factors.
• Relief team members are compensated for miles driven and require personal reliable transportation.
