Position Overview
Customer Service Representative – Bank Card Services (Full-Time)
Bishop & Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a respected Hawaii financial institution. This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping clients, solving problems, and providing support in a fast-paced service environment.
Pay: $16.33–$23.42 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on business needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding ATM, debit card, and credit card accounts via phone and email.
- Research and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process account maintenance requests, including address updates and account changes.
- Assist with card servicing functions, including blocking and unblocking accounts.
- Support fraud-related activities and help customers resolve account concerns.
- Utilize multiple systems and programs to facilitate customer service requests and card production activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required.
- Previous call center experience preferred.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and use a 10-key by touch.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer service.
