Position Overview

Customer Service Representative – Bank Card Services (Full-Time)

Bishop & Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a respected Hawaii financial institution. This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping clients, solving problems, and providing support in a fast-paced service environment.

Pay: $16.33–$23.42 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on business needs.

Essential Duties
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding ATM, debit card, and credit card accounts via phone and email.
  • Research and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process account maintenance requests, including address updates and account changes.
  • Assist with card servicing functions, including blocking and unblocking accounts.
  • Support fraud-related activities and help customers resolve account concerns.
  • Utilize multiple systems and programs to facilitate customer service requests and card production activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required.
  • Previous call center experience preferred.
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and use a 10-key by touch.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer service.
