EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, and parking/garage areas to cart collection points.
- Transport carts using mechanized equipment or by hand following established routes to ensure access to luggage carts and revenue generation.
- Adhere to cart replenishment inventory protocol for rental mechanized equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning of carts, CMU’s, EQR’s, cart tracks, locks, keys, and moving equipment.
- Practice safe work habits to protect self, coworkers, equipment, airport property, passengers, and visitors.
- Provide general customer service to assist passengers navigating the airport environment.
- Demonstrate reliable and professional work behavior; communicate effectively with peers, maintenance, and management to improve operations.
- Adapt to operational change and perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Customer service experience and comfort speaking to the general public
- Ability to obtain Airport Badge is required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Lift up to 40 lbs
- Push/pull 40 lbs to move up to 15 carts simultaneously
- Walk and stand for the duration of the shift
