The Athletic Kiosk Attendant ensures that the Athletic Kiosk, locker rooms, gym, and athletic courts are inviting places that are well‑stocked, clean, and organized for members’ enjoyment, as well as the overall operation of the facility. The Athletic Kiosk Attendant attends to athletic facilities, locker room, kiosk, swimming pool, gym and paddle/tennis courts and provides excellent customer service to all members and guests while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
SubKiosk Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
- Fills in when our part‑time and full‑time employees are unavailable to work.
- Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests using the athletics facility.
- Greets all guests and members and maintains the sign‑in sheet.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment throughout all athletic areas.
- Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members, and guests.
- Inputs charges to point‑of‑sale system.
- Provides drink and snack service for the members.
- Answers the phone.
- Enforces all club policies and rules.
- Stays informed about current fitness classes and programs being offered to help promote member participation and answer members’ questions.
- Stocks locker room amenities and towels daily.
- Washes towels and members’ workout clothes.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Team player.
- Positive attitude.
- Must be a good communicator and able to work independently.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work in an open‑air kiosk.
- Must be able to take and pass a food handlers test to serve beer and wine.
- CPR and First Aid certified or will need to take a CPR and First Aid certification course.
This on‑call job is perfect for someone who wants occasional hours but not a set weekly schedule.
- We are open Monday‑Friday 4:45am‑10pm and Saturday and Sunday 5:15am‑10pm. Must be able to work either an opening or closing shift. Ability to work either shift opening or closing is a plus.
- Sub hours will vary depending on the need.
- Willing to work on short notice if a staff member calls out sick. Additional on‑call hours are available during large athletic events.
- Need 1‑4 weeks worth of coverage when staff are on vacation.
- Sub opportunities are available.
- The Pacific Club supports a DRUG‑FREE work environment. Passing a drug pre‑screening test is required for hiring.
$16 per hour (Non‑exempt).
