About the Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified and dedicated, Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our collaborative, dynamic and expanding group, that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for the entire state of Hawaii. Faculty appointment with John
A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai’i available.
- Provide consultative Maternal–Fetal Medicine care in a well-supported clinical environment (no deliveries or in-house call required), including telemedicine
- Interpret and perform advanced obstetric ultrasound in a hospital with ~5,000 deliveries annually
- Practice in a setting with dedicated and experienced sonographers
, along with genetic counselors, allowing for efficient, high-quality care - Collaborate closely with OB/GYN generalists, neonatology, anesthesia, genetics, and other pediatric and pediatric surgery subspecialty teams
- Develop a clinical niche aligned with your interests, including fetal echocardiography and/or CVS and PUBS (welcome but not required)
- Participate in teaching and mentoring MFM fellows, OB/GYN residents and medical students through the University of Hawai’i, John

The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group. About Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & ChildrenKapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care.
Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani.
