About the Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a full-time employed position to join our team on the island of O‘ahu
.

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a broad range of adult surgical services, including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ENT, GI, plastics, and other subspecialties.
• Practice in a care-team model alongside CRNAs and anesthesia colleagues within a collaborative, physician-led department.
• Participate in weekday and/or call coverage as part of a shared, equitable schedule.
• Work across multiple HPH facilities on O‘ahu, including Straub Benioff Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, Surgicare and affiliated ambulatory surgery centers.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, professionalism, teaching, and continuous quality improvement.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Hawai‘i medical licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach to care.

• The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group. • About each facility on Oahu
• Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children – Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility.
  
  Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
• Pali Momi Medical Center – With 118 beds and more than 500 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu.
