About The Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a full‑time employed position to join our team on the island of O‘ahu.
What You’ll Do- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including labor analgesia, cesarean delivery anesthesia, and management of obstetric emergencies.
- Lead and collaborate with CRNAs in a care‑team model to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality anesthesia services.
- Manage high‑risk obstetric cases and medically complex patients, coordinating care with obstetrics, maternal‑fetal medicine, and neonatal teams.
- Participate in call coverage and provide urgent/emergent obstetric anesthesia services as part of a shared team‑based schedule.
- Contribute to departmental quality, safety, and performance‑improvement initiatives that advance patient care and operational excellence.
- Practice evidence‑based medicine while maintaining flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a busy tertiary care environment.

- MD or DO degree.
- Board Eligible / Board Certified.
- Knowledge, skills, and experience in obstetric anesthesia.
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group.
