Salary: $20.80 to $26.33 per hour (SR-11, Step C to I)

Shift work:
Rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.

• Perform highly complex library support work.
• Supervise and participate in performing complex library support work.
• Perform substantive technical/paraprofessional library support work requiring knowledge of library science techniques.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Legal Authorization to Work: U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident alien, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• General
  
  Experience:
  
  One year of clerical work demonstrating knowledge of spelling, arithmetic, following oral and written instructions, and performing clerical procedures, office equipment operation, and tactful communication. Equivalent to Library Assistant II level.
• Specialized
  
  Experience:
  
  Two years of progressively responsible experience in a library supporting activities such as circulation, stack maintenance, processing orders, posting receipts, locating and verifying bibliographic information, applying library terminology, practices, and policies. Must include knowledge of bibliographic description, catalog card elements, standard library tools, classification schemes (e.g., Dewey Decimal, Library of Congress), and types of publications. At least one year comparable to Library Assistant IV level.
• Supervisory Aptitude: Demonstrated potential for supervisory duties through leadership roles, supervisory training, or favorable appraisals.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
