Special Education teacher for grades 3 through
5. Math curriculum:
Ready Math;
Reading:
Reading Wonders;
Science: STEMscopes. Intervention: i‑Ready. Supplemental math:
Building Thinking Classrooms. Supplemental reading: OG Morphology.

• Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.

Special education classroom experience in a K‑12 school setting.

• Plan and facilitate Individualized Education Plan meetings.
• Exercise independent and professional judgment in carrying out daily functions.
• Maintain an effective work pace under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Grasp new concepts quickly and apply them effectively.
• Work effectively with others.

• Minimum qualification:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree.
• If hired without completing a Teacher Education Program, must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years.
• Must enroll in a Program to continue employment.
• Must actively pursue licensing requirements each year of employment as set by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
• Upon hire, must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
