Description
We are seeking a dedicated and student‑centered Grade 5 Teacher to join our team in the Hawaii Department of Education. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students while creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver standards‑based instruction in all core subject areas.
- Use data to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families.
- Foster positive relationships with students.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit within 3 years if not yet licensed.
- Enroll in a Hawaii approved Teacher Education Program if not licensed.
- Satisfy active pursuit toward meeting Hawaii licensing requirements as set forth by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
