The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking a passionate Special Education Educator dedicated to co-teaching and facilitating inclusive science education for grades 9–12. The role involves partnering with general education teachers to create equitable environments where students with IEPs can thrive.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board. Special education classroom experience in a K-12 setting is desired, as well as the ability to plan for IEP meetings and work effectively in a team.
The position requires ongoing professional development to maintain licensure, further enhancing the educator's capabilities in the classroom.
