What is a SPIN?At EF, SPINs (Special Interest classes) give students the opportunity to study English through topics they are genuinely interested in. These classes combine language learning with hands‑on experiences, helping students build confidence and fluency through real‑world engagement. Topics range from creative arts to local culture in Hawaiʻi.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Ukulele SPIN Instructor to lead a culturally rich and engaging SPIN class centered on ukulele music and Hawaiian culture. This class blends English language practice with musical instruction, cultural storytelling, and hands‑on performance activities. Students will learn basic ukulele techniques while exploring the history, values, and cultural significance of the instrument in Hawaiʻi. The instructor plays a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, practicing, and expressing themselves in English.
