Position Overview
Title: Graduate Assistant – Cancer Epidemiology (Hawaii Pacific Foundation)

Salary: Step 14 ($2,335.50 per month)
Type: Part Time (50% FTE) – 11 month position

Other Conditions: Candidates must be enrolled as a student at UH Manoa campus.
Job Duties- Assist Principal Investigator (PI) with writing research papers for journal submissions
- Maintain record of human subjects in research studies.
- Provide support to PI with data analysis and interpretation
- Perform other duties assigned.
- A classified University of Hawai'i at Manoa graduate student (new or continuing) with good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
- Enrolled in a University of Hawai'i at Manoa graduate program.
- Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to safeguard confidential and sensitive material and information.
- Expressed interest in Cancer Epidemiology or Prevention.
- Working knowledge of SAS, R and other data analysis software.
- Knowledge of database management and program evaluation.
