Up to three (3) positions on federal funds, to begin February 2026 or soon thereafter. Continuation dependent on satisfactory performance, program needs and renewal of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator, facilitate and support program and research to increase the inclusion and success of individuals with disabilities in post-secondary education.
- Promotes and fosters student self-determination and self-advocacy through direct teaching and by providing opportunities for students to first observe and then act (e.g. asking for accommodations).
- Provide one-on-one coaching for and tutoring students with a variety of learning challenges/disabilities.
- Documents students' progress, collects project data, and maintains accurate records and confidentiality for project staff review.
- Assists in the development of model components related to CDS Educational Coach responsibilities, including person-centered planning and inter-agency teaming initiatives.
- Creates, models, and maintains a positive environment for student participants.
- Supports students to run person-centered planning teams.
- Collects and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conducts literature searches, reviews and academic research.
- Supports work groups (taking minutes, obtaining requested information, arrange meeting rooms, etc).
- Assist with the project website, flyers, brochures and other materials.
- Supports project implementation activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
