For placement in part-time lecturer pool for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026. The Division of French and Italian offers student-focused instruction with an active program of extracurricular activities to support learning. Contingent on course offerings, sufficient enrollment, position clearance and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach first-year, second-year and third-year French classes. Attend pilot classes as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.A. or equivalent degree in French; high level fluency in French and English; experience teaching French at the college or university level; excellent student evaluations
Desirable Qualifications
- An engaged approach to language and cultural learning demonstrated by any suitable combination of the following: evidence of student-oriented and innovative instruction; evidence of contributions to student learning and cultural activities.
