Candidates are expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and/or Organic Chemistry within the Chemistry Department. Instructional duties may include lectures, scheduled study and review sessions, and supervision of laboratory classes with or without teaching assistants. Duties and Responsibilities

Teach assigned undergraduate lecture and/or lab courses (up to 12 credit hours per semester)
Serve as instructor and coordinate teaching assistants for general, analytical and/or organic chemistry lab courses

Minimum Qualifications

M.S. from a college or university of recognized standing with major coursework in Chemistry or a closely related field
Evidence of ability to teach effectively

Desirable Qualifications

Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field
At least 2 years prior experience teaching college-level chemistry courses
