Graduate Admissions Student Ambassador
Graduate Admissions Student Ambassadors (Grad ASA) play a vital role in recruiting future Flex and Graduate Students. While serving as the front line to the Graduate/Flex Office of Admissions, the Grad ASA will educate visitors about the history, traditions, and life at Chaminade University of Honolulu. After 1 year of service, the Grad ASA will also be responsible for training newly hired students in their duties and may be eligible for additional leadership roles and a salary increase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties, including but not limited to answering phones and emails, filing, running errands, and assisting prospective students
- Process, organize, and input admission documents received
- Maintain absolute confidentiality about the admission process and personal information concerning applicants
- Assist in all recruitment events held on and off campus, as well as virtually
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective students via phone and email
- Engage in social media marketing initiatives
- Lead dynamic in-person and virtual campus tours
- Attend required training and/or workshops
- Perform other duties as assigned
- After 1 year of service:
Train new student staff on the above duties and responsibilities

Education and Experience:
- Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate (master's or doctoral) student at Chaminade University of Honolulu
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
- Must possess excellent verbal and electronic communication skills
- Must be able to adapt and work in changing environments, tasks, and situations
Physical Requirements:
Duties involve light work in an office and community setting and requires a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and walking inclines. Must be able to lift 20 pounds, walk the campus with ease, and have excellent motor skills. Must have finger dexterity. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand.
Other Requirements:
- This is a Part-time Non-Exempt Student Worker position. Depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the department, additional hours or workday schedule changes may be occasionally required. Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends and a varying schedule.

- Observes all safety and health regulations and works in accordance with safe work procedures and policies of the University. Reports unsafe acts/conditions and injuries in a timely and proper manner
