Overview

The Academy Director (or Coordinator) at Farrington High School oversees the school's "wall-to-wall" career academies, leading curriculum design, industry partnerships, and academic structures that prepare students for college and specific career pathways.

• Lead the vision and strategy for the academies.
• Collaborate with teachers to design cutting‑edge curricula.
• Build partnerships with local industry leaders.
• Champion student success by bridging high school and the real world.
• Develop workforce readiness programs in collaboration with the team.

• Bachelor's Degree (required).
• Valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.
• Maximum of 3 years to obtain a teaching license if hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program.
• Active pursuit of Hawaii licensing requirements, documented annually.
