270 - 276 Introduction to Literature (emphases on literary history, genre, culture, creative writing, or rhetoric).
- MA or MFA degree in English or appropriate field from a college or university of recognized standing;
- Ability to teach effectively, direct group discussions;
- Professionalism in meeting and conferring with others
- Ph.D. in English or other appropriate field;
- Experience teaching first-year writing, writing intensive, and/or introductory literature courses at the college or university level;
- Evidence of scholarly or professional activity.
