GlobalX Supervisor
SALARY RANGE
: $16.00 Hourly
Supervise students in various GlobalX programs, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports various GlobalX Programs including but not limited to Extended Learning Programs, After School Care, and Summer Programs.
- Leads students in activities, both structured and informal, throughout program time.
- Provides programmatic support to the GlobalX Coordinator, Manager, or Director.
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with diverse groups of young people and adults from various cultural backgrounds.
- Enforces school rules and behavioral expectations.
- Provides close supervision and maintains a safe environment for students.
- Has a strong interest in working with students of various ages.
- Works collaboratively with school faculty, staff, and GlobalX staff to care for the students.
- Establishes and maintains professional relationships with the students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance at work.
- Participates in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.
- Complies with instructions given for personal and others' safety and health, adhering to safe work procedures.
- Take reasonable care to ensure own and others' safety and health.
- Reports any injury, hazard, or illness immediately to Supervisor and Human Resources.
- Does not place others at risk by any act or omission nor willfully or recklessly interferes with safety equipment.
- Acts as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors.
- Identifies, assesses if necessary, and controls hazards within area of responsibility.
- Ensures equipment and supplies are properly maintained.
- Maintains relevant knowledge of safety laws.
- Mandatorily reports sexual abuse to law enforcement or child protective services and Human Resources. Sexual abuse includes child molestation, any actual or alleged illegal or otherwise wrongful sexual conduct with a minor, and serial sexual misconduct with more than one victim; and committed by or alleged to have been committed by any perpetrator who is not a student.

- Completed high school degree or 1–2 years of experience volunteering in Mid‑Pacific’s GlobalX Programs, including but not limited to Extended Learning Programs, After School Care, and/or Summer Programs.
- Prior experience working with children ages 5–11.
- Criminal background clearance.
- At least two references.
- At least two years of college experience.
- At least two years of experience working with young children.
This part‑time position requires less than 20 hours per week and is active during instructional days and summer programs. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday 2:15 pm–5:30 pm during the school year and 7:30 am–5:00 pm during summer programs, with possible variations.
Physical DemandsThe campus spans multiple buildings on 44 hilly acres, requiring frequent walking, uphill travel, and use of stairs. The employee must talk, hear, sit, manipulate keys on a keyboard, stand, walk, lift and carry approximately 10–15 pounds, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. Requires close vision.
Mental DemandsDaily problem solving, decision making, data interpretation, organization, writing, planning, and clear communication are required.
Equipment Use- Telephone, computer, iPad – occasionally.
- Copier, printers, and other hardware – infrequently.
- Indoor and outdoor environments – frequently.
- Loud noise, cold and hot temperatures – frequently.
